The Marion Downs Hearing Center offers a wide range of clinical services at two convenient locations in the Denver and Boulder metropolitan area. Our providers work closely with patients and their families to utilize the best resources available to achieve listening and language goals. The collective background and research expertise of our clinicians sets our organization apart as a Center of Excellence.

 

The MDHC Clinic will be celebrating Better Hearing Month in May with free hearing screening at all three of our locations.  Please view the flyer for more information and call (720)848-2880 for appointments.

Our providers are highly trained, experienced audiologists and doctors with various areas of specialty. Every member of our team is also a teacher and mentor, supervising the training of graduate students in the clinic who will be the future professionals in the field of hearing sciences. What Should I Do If I Have Hearing Loss?

If you suspect you may have hearing loss, an appointment should be made with an audiologist at the MDHC for a complete evaluation and consultation.

This evaluation is covered by most medical insurance. If you are diagnosed with a hearing loss, you will be given information regarding rehabilitation options including hearing aid technologies and additional amplification options.

Signs of Hearing Loss

* Asking people to repeat themselves

* Able to hear, but unable to understand clearly

* Others seem to mumble or slur

* Difficulty in group conversations

* Avoiding social occasions

* Difficulty locating sound sources

* Telephone, radio & TV become less clear

* Prefer Radio and TV louder than others

* Tinnitus or ringing in the ears
