Our close alliance with the University of Colorado School of Medicine encourages partnerships between an eliete group of clinicians and scientists, allowing us to provide the latest in translational research technology to our patients. The University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Otology and Neurotology offers the medical and surgical specialty care of the ear, including treatment of hearing loss, ear infections, tinnitus, eardrum perforations, facial paralysis, congenital malformations, and tumors of the ear and lateral skull base.
Otologists work closely with audiologists to offer cutting edge diagnostic and rehabilitation services for patients of all ages. These include newborn hearing screening and diagnostic testing, hearing aid fittings, and surgically implantable technology including cochlear implants, osseointegrated devices, and implantable middle ear hearing devices for selected canidates.
